PSG Finalize Two Departures Ahead of 2026-27 Season

After officially announcing Goncalo Ramos’ transfer to AC Milan on Tuesday night, PSG finalized two additional departures this week via loan deals.

PSG’s outgoing business is in full swing. After seeing several young players from the 2008 generation move abroad and the transfer of Goncalo Ramos to AC Milan for an estimated €70 million-€75 million, the two-time European champion is working on several other departures, including Lee Kang-in’s move to Atletico Madrid.

Luis Campos has other major cases underway regarding exits, and two of them have reportedly been completed, according to Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade, who works notably for ESPN Brasil and the website MaisFutebol. Andrade was behind recent exclusives concerning Gabriel Moscardo and Renato Marin, and he confirmed in recent hours that both players will indeed leave on loan.

Returning from a loan spell at Braga, Gabriel Moscardo, 20, will join Espanyol in La Liga on a season-long loan without an option to buy. Renato Marin, PSG’s third-choice goalkeeper last season, will spend the next campaign on loan at CD Nacional, a Madeira-based club that competes in Portugal’s top division. That move will also be a loan, with no option to buy, for the 19-year-old.

Regarding the Italian-Brazilian goalkeeper, Bruno Andrade added that he had also attracted interest from Italy. However, the young PSG keeper will continue his development in Portugal with a club that finished 14th in last season’s Portuguese league, where he is expected to receive significant playing time.

PSG has not yet officially announced either loan, but confirmation should arrive soon. Moscardo is under contract with PSG through 2028 and has not yet made an official appearance for the club, while Renato Marin is signed until 2030 and has already played three official matches for the Parisian side.

Luis Enrique said a few weeks ago that he was not planning to make major changes to the squad, but that the club did intend to make a few adjustments.

It appears the areas set for the most movement ahead of next season are the attack and the attacking midfield, with Lee’s departure all but agreed and Ramos’ exit now official.

As a result, multiple reports have linked PSG with versatile attacking players such as Eli Junior Kroupi and Yan Diomande.

In addition, reports suggest that Bradley Barcola is not expected to leave the club, meaning players such as Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue could occasionally be deployed as central forwards or in more advanced midfield roles.

That, in turn, would further reduce the available space in midfield, potentially leaving important players such as Fabian Ruiz and Warren Zaire-Emery with fewer opportunities. With all of that in mind, Moscardo’s departure on loan makes perfect sense.
