Robert Pattinson Details How Fatherhood Has Changed Him After Welcoming Baby with Suki Waterhouse

Robert Pattinson’s baby girl is his life now.

In fact, the Twilight alum is amazed by how much becoming a father to his and fiancée Suki Waterhouse’s 17-month-old daughter—whose name they have not publicly revealed—has changed him.

“I have so much more patience,” Robert told Icon Magazine in a post shared to Instagram Oct. 2 ahead of the issue’s Oct. 14 release. “It’s funny, it’s not even patience; I genuinely enjoy hanging out with babies.”

The 39-year-old added of the change, “That surprised me.”

But that wasn’t the only piece of parenthood that came as a shock, with Robert joking how funny it is to have “real, normie conversations—about things like schools or daycares.”

“It’s so strange,” he continued. “It’s like, there’s this gravitational pull…Like, I have to wear Patagonia puffer jackets and cargo shorts now. I just have to.”

As the Batman actor—who got engaged to Suki in 2023 after five years together—previously shared, patience isn’t the only tangible shift he’s experienced since welcoming their daughter.
