Birkenstock is no stranger to fashion collaborations, but its latest release leans into balletcore—one of this year’s biggest footwear trends. The German brand has teamed up with French shoe line Repetto on a limited-edition capsule that combines Birkenstock’s famously supportive footbed with Repetto’s signature ballet-inspired details. The collection launches today at Birkenstock 1774 (the brand’s division dedicated to specialty materials and designer collaborations) and Repetto.

The collaboration includes three styles—the Arizona, Scala and Opéra—that are available in three colors: Iconic Pink, Flame Red and Profound Black. Every pair is finished with Repetto’s signature gingham footbed lining and features details like glossy patent leather, oversized buckles and ballet-inspired ribbons.
The partnership brings together two brands known for very different types of footwear; Birkenstock has spent centuries refining comfort-driven sandals, while Repetto started out making pointe shoes before introducing its iconic ballet flats.
