Jets RB Breece Hall Leaves in First Half vs Cowboys With Concerning Injury

Despite outgaining in the Dallas Cowboys in total yards and controlling time of possession for more than six minutes for much of the first half of Sunday’s Week 5 matchup, the New York Jets’ offense just couldn’t get on the scoreboard.
The Jets trail the Cowboys 23-3 at halftime, but perhaps even more concerning than the score is what happened just before the two-minute warning.
On a first-and-10 from the Dallas 23-yard line, New York put the ball in the hands of running back Breece Hall. The 24-year-old tailback gained 10 yards and burst into the red zone, but he fumbled and was simultaneously injured on the play.

Hall was down for a few moments before gingerly making his way to the sideline and making his way to the blue injury tent. He had nine carries for 78 yards at the time of his injury.
No update was given on Hall’s status, but he was seen with his helmet on the sideline. He did not play not he Jets’ final drive of the second quarter.
This is a developing situation and will be updated as more information becomes available.
