Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Vita Vea has requested a trade, his agent told NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Vea’s trade request comes after unsuccessful contract extension negotiations, as he enters the final year of his deal.
The 31-year-old has made two Pro-Bowl appearances in his eight-year career and helped the Buccaneers win Super Bowl LV.
The 6-foot-4, 347-pounder recorded 4.5 sacks, seven tackles for loss, and 13 quarterback hits in 2025.
