He lets out a loud roar as he pulls the length ball to the midwicket boundary! He falls on his knees and raises both of his hands to the Pakistani dug out and his teammates give him a standing ovation. He has been in and out of the side since his last Test century against England in Multan back in 2024. Abdullah had to go back to the domestic cricket to prove he is good enough to make a comeback. Scored heaps in grade-2 cricket for MIT and helped them qualify for the President’s Trophy grade-1 tournament. Those runs earned him an improbable recall and he has scored a terrific century in his first innings back in Test cricket. Not to forget, this is the first time he is batting at number three.
