The Esports World Cup have unveiled the team list and groups for the Esports World Cup 2026 Last Chance Qualifier, with 64 teams set to compete on LAN for 4 spots in the main event. The competition will see teams from all over the world fight for their chance to compete in the $2m event and join the 28 squads directly invited to the French LAN.
Among the 64 teams in the LCQ include two NA teams in the form of Liquid and NRG while BC.Game, BIG, HEROIC, 100 Thieves, DENDELE CS, Fnatic, SAW, and Metziport can also be found in the group stage.
The format for the LCQ is fairly brutal as the group stage is double elimination while the playoffs are single elimination, giving squads little room for error. Liquid and NRG are favorites to make it out of their groups as they are the first or second-highest ranked teams, while the playoffs are essentially going to be a toss up.
