Olympic gold medallist diver Tom Daley will be joining the star-studded round table of The Celebrity Traitors.
Daley was 14 when he made his Olympic debut, representing Great Britain at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games.
He has won all three types of medals (gold, silver and bronze) in his Olympic career.
The 31-year-old retired from competing after the 2024 Paris Olympic games – he had previously taken two career breaks, in 2018 and 2021.
Daley said he returned to diving in 2023 as his son wanted to see him compete.
He is also known for his hobby in knitting and crocheting – he was seen knitting an Olympic jumper in the crowd while watching his fellow British divers compete at the 2024 Games.
Daley, who is married to US film-maker Dustin Lance Black, posts videos of his life on YouTube.
He also featured on ‘Splash!’ a TV series which followed celebrities learning to dive.
“I want to win. That’s the whole point of the game. I’m there to have fun, but at the same time I want to do well,” Daley said ahead of Celebrity Traitors.
“I’m spending this time away from my family so I’m fully putting myself into it and I want to do them proud.”
Fans will have to stay tuned to see whether Daley will be a Faithful or a Traitor.
