Stephen Curry Hypes Warriors Duo with Brother Seth in Photo After Contract, ‘SC²’

For the first time in their NBA careers, brothers Stephen and Seth Curry are set to play for the same team.

Seth joined his brother on the Golden State Warriors, and it’s safe to say Steph is hyped on the new duo.

Seth, who spent the 2024-25 season with the Charlotte Hornets, signed with the Warriors earlier this month on a one-year deal. He told Mat Issa of Forbes in March it was “a dream come true to play for the Hornets,” who his father played for, but he couldn’t pass up the chance to play alongside his brother.

Upon arrival in Golden State, Seth joked that he tried to buy Steph’s No. 30 jersey from him, but Steph wasn’t going to give up his number, which will almost certainly go into the rafters one day.

“I tried to buy it from him (Steph). He said he didn’t need the money,” Seth said. “Don’t think the NBA would like it either.”

Though Seth hasn’t played for the Warriors before, he actually began his NBA career with the organization in 2013, playing for Santa Cruz Warriors after going undrafted in 2013.

Seth eventually found his place in the NBA, becoming a solid role player for a handful of teams over the last decade. His play has declined over the past few years as he’s gotten older, but he should serve as a decent bench player and a veteran presence in the locker room.

Even if he doesn’t see the floor much, getting to team up with Steph before the two end their careers is sure to be a special experience.
