Real Housewives of Potomac star, husband charged with fraud

CARROLL COUNTY, MD. (WBFF) — A star of the Real Housewives of Potomac and her husband have been arrested in Carroll County and charged with fraud.
According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Wendy Osefo, 40, and her husband, Eddie, 41, were arrested on fraud charges, and taken to Carroll County Booking on Thursday.
Authorities said on April 7, 2024, police responded to a home in the 1900 block of Turnberry Court in Finksburg for a report of a burglary and theft.
Upon arrival, officers met with the homeowners, the Osefo’s, who said that they had returned home from a vacation to find that their home had been broken into and multiple items had been stolen.

Authorities said that the Osefo’s reported that about 80 items of jewelry, shoes, clothing, and luxury goods were stolen, with the items being worth over $200,000.
During their investigation, detectives found that the reportedly stolen items had been returned by the Osefo’s to the locations they had been purchased.
Additionally, authorities found pictures of one of the Osefo’s wearing jewelry that had been reported stolen.
On October 9, 2025, the evidence was presented to a Grand Jury, and the Osefo’s were indicted.
Both a search warrant for the home on Turnberry Court and arrest warrants for the Osefo’s were issued.
The couple was taken into custody, and released after they posted bond on October 10.
