How To Watch The Daytime Emmy Awards Online

The 52nd annual Daytime Emmy Awards will take place Friday, October 17, 2025 beginning at 4 p.m. PT at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, CA.
A total of 41 Emmys will be awarded during the ceremony, which honors achievements spanning daytime dramas, talk shows, instructional programming, hosting, and culinary and legal/courtroom programs and will be hosted by Mario Lopez. This year will introduce winners in several new categories including Outstanding Culinary Cultural Series, Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Series and Outstanding Regional Content in a Daytime Genre.
Among the expected highlights will be Deborah Norville, who announced earlier this year she was exiting as anchor of Inside Edition after 30 years, being presented with the Daytime Emmys’ Lifetime Achievement Award.
How do I watch the Daytime Emmy Awards?
The Daytime Emmys are not being televised on a broadcast network. The ceremony will stream live on National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ website at watch.theemmys.tv, and via The Emmys app which is available to download on iOS and Android mobile devices and on smart TVs via Android TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, Fire TV and Roku.
Who is nominated this year?
This year’s nominations leaders coming into Friday night are The Young and the Restless with 19 noms, last year’s Outstanding Drama Series winner General Hospital with 16, Days of Our Lives with 13, Drew Barrymore with nine and last year’s Daytime Talk Series winner Kelly Clarkson with eight.
Where is ‘Beyond the Gates’?
CBS’ new soap Beyond the Gates bowed in February of this year, just after the eligibility window for this year’s nominees (shows must have aired aired from January 1-December 31, 2024). Beyond the Gates will be eligible next year as it returns for a second season.
