Khloé Kardashian Left a Flirty IG Comment on Teacher’s Post: What Happened Next: EXCLUSIVE

A Santa Cruz teacher has gone viral after his simple request to have someone ask how his day went was answered by none other than Khloé Kardashian.
Jacob Myers, who has been teaching for two and a half years after working as an assistant teacher and substitute, started posting videos on Instagram in October about a day in the life of a high school teacher.
He has shared fit checks and funny clips about his frustrating mornings, and also heartfelt videos about supporting his students and feeling stressed.
But one of his recent videos caught the attention of over 100,000 social media users, including Kardashian. Myers shared a clip of him posing in his classroom. Text over the video included some facts about him, like his Italian roots and past life as a collegiate athlete. In the caption, he wrote, “Somewhere out there is the woman who’s gonna ask how my school day was.”
Kardashian decided to be the one to pose the pivotal question, writing “How was your day??” in the comments. Her reply received over 80,000 likes and Instagram users immediately chimed in, suggesting that the two meet. Even Kardashian’s close friend Malika Haqq encouraged the potential connection. “Isn’t she the sweetest,” she asked the high school teacher and coach, playing wing woman for her bestie.

Myers left a flirtatious reply: “Mine is great now. How was yours?” Then he uploaded a follow-up video, also filmed in his classroom, giving Kardashian a longer response. He shared that he was interested in meeting up in person and pitched being her plus-one to a Kardashian Christmas party.
He tagged Kardashian, Haqq and momager Kris Jenner in the post. “This is your sign to help a teacher out and tag @khloekardashian. Shooters gotta shoot,” he playfully wrote in the caption.
Myers tells TODAY.com that he decided to post the initial video on a whim when he was preparing for final exams and feeling swamped. He couldn’t have imagined the amount of replies he received.
“(I) honestly never expected the attention. It’s been very overwhelming and exciting at the same time, because I just post the videos for the fun of them,” he shares. “My students are kind of my main priority. I’m a teacher first and foremost.”
His students were the ones who encouraged him to start using his social media to post about his job.
“They were like, ‘Why don’t you make Tiktok videos?’” he recalls them asking. They showed him other TikTokers who are teachers and he realized how many other educators can relate to his experience.
He continues, “I started to create content, and I ended up finding a community of teachers out there that were going through the same things. Just being stressed out as a teacher, but still enjoying it, and I was able to talk to them. Then it ended up creating a little support group in a way. Also, we’re able to trade lesson plans and info. It’s been a huge help to talk with teachers from around the world and connect with them.”
When he saw that Kardashian had noticed his content, he thought he might as well shoot his shot.
“You never get that many opportunities in my world,” he says. “So I was like, ‘Why not? What’s the worst that could happen?’”
After his interaction with the reality television star, his students, and co-workers, began teasing him that he was all over their For You Pages. He says during a school rally students gave gifts to all the teachers. They presented Myers with a Photoshopped picture of him and Kardashian.
He doesn’t mind the “overwhelming” attention or his students poking fun at him. But he says he hopes that his other videos resonate with people.
“I don’t want to be known (as) the teacher that asked out Khloé Kardashian. I’d rather be known as a great teacher and a great coach, which I think I am,” he says. “That’s my passion.”
Myers, who has nearly 90,000 followers on Instagram now, adds, “It’s been an exciting opportunity for me to actually shine a light on education and show people what I teach. There’s a lot of other teachers out there that don’t post and you don’t actually see what they do. And there’s a lot of other teachers that are just like me, who are teaching three different subjects and coaching multiple sports and running programs.”
He hopes his followers understand how much work educators put into helping their students.
As for a future date with Kardashian? He hasn’t heard anything yet.
“Khloé’s comment was incredibly kind, and of course I’d love the opportunity to meet her,” he says, adding that he is grateful for all the support he has received.
