Matt and Ross Duffer confirm that their television adaptation of The Talisman has been canceled. It was first announced in March 2021 that the Stranger Things creators were attached as executive producers to Netflix’s take on the Peter Straub and Stephen King novel, which was a New York Times bestseller after being published in 1984.
While speaking with Cbr, Ross shared that, “Sadly, Talisman is no longer at Netflix, so we’re not involved.” Matt admitted, “I think it was probably naive of us to think we could break The Talisman.”
