3 hurt in Friday night, Saturday morning shootings in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Police are investigating three shootings that left three people hurt in Baton Rouge.
According to investigators, one of the shootings happened around 6 p.m. Friday, January 9, on North 44th Street near Gus Young Avenue. Police said one person suffered injuries but is expected to survive.
About an hour later at 7 p.m., police got a call about a separate shooting scene on 68th Avenue near Pembroke Street. Emergency workers had to take one person to a hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Gunfire also kept the Baton Rouge Police Department busy early Saturday morning, January 10. Officers responded to a scene around 2:40 a.m. on North Foster Drive near Prescott Road. One person suffered injuries that are not life-threatening.
The three incidents remain under investigation.
