Andrew Rosindell quits Tories and defects to Reform UK

Conservative shadow minister Andrew Rosindell has defected to Reform UK, becoming the seventh Tory MP to do so.
Announcing his resignation on Sunday, the MP for Romford said the Conservative Party was “irreparably bound to the mistakes of previous governments and unwilling to take meaningful accountability for the poor decisions made over so many issues”.
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage called him “a great patriot” who “will be a great addition to our team”.
His reasoning for switching parties echoes that of the former shadow chancellor Robert Jenrick, who defected on Thursday.
