Nation’s No. 1 QB Elijah Haven names his top four schools

The Georgia Bulldogs are a team to watch for five-star quarterback Elijah Haven, who has listed his top four schools. He listed the Georgia Bulldogs, Alabama Crimson Tide, Florida Gators and Auburn Tigers as his top schools, according to Hayes Fawcett.

Haven is a five-star quarterback from the class of 2027. The 6-foot-5, 215-pound QB plays for Dunham High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is the No. 1 quarterback and No. 2 prospect in the 2027 class.

Haven was the MaxPreps National Sophomore of the Year in 2024 and Louisiana’s Mr. Football in 2025. He had an incredible 2025 season, setting Louisiana high-school state records with 62 passing touchdowns and 73 total touchdowns.

Georgia offered him a scholarship on June 1, 2025, the same day he attended a Georgia camp. However, Haven hasn’t visited the Bulldogs. He has had three visits with Alabama and two visits each to Florida and Auburn. 247Sports’ crystal ball predictor has Haven committing to the Crimson Tide.

The Bulldogs are looking for a contingency plan for when Gunner Stockton declares for the draft. He could decide to go into the draft in 2027. In that scenario, Georgia likely would have redshirt sophomore Ryan Puglisi, Oregon transfer Bryson Beaver and redshirt freshmen Ryan Montgomery and Hezekiah Millender.

However, a five-star quarterback would be a huge jolt in the Bulldogs’ 2027 class. They have the No. 8 recruiting class for 2027 with two four-stars (Donte Wright, Kelsey Adams) and three three-stars (Noah Parker, Aden Starling, Gavin Honore).
