Lobos Open Homestand Wednesday Against Fresno State

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M – The New Mexico men’s basketball team begins a two-game homestand Wednesday night when it hosts Fresno State at The Pit. Game time is 7:00 p.m. and the game will be televised on CBS Sports Network and air on Lobo Radio Network.

Tickets for Tuesday’s game are on sale now at GoLobos.com/tickets. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Fans will want to stay in their seats at halftime as the legendary Red Panda makes her debut performance at The Pit.

The Lobos (14-4, 5-2) look to remain unbeaten at home this season and extend a 21-game home win streak, the sixth-longest active streak in the nation. UNM is looking to bounce back from an 83-79 loss at San Diego State on Saturday, snapping a four-game win streak. Tomislav Buljan had 20 points and 14 rebounds against the Aztecs for his league-leading seventh double-double of the season.    

Fresno State (9-9, 3-4 MW) has won three of its last four, including the last two, its first back-to-back conference wins since 2024. The Bulldogs are led by former Air Force and Clemson guard Jake Heidbreder, who is averaging 17.6 points per game.  

The all-time series is tied 21-21, with the Lobos having won the last four matchups. New Mexico is 14-3 all-time against the Bulldogs in The Pit.        

The Lobos will conclude the homestand on Saturday with a matchup against Nevada (13-5, 5-2 MW). Game time is 6 p.m. and the game will air on FS1. Tickets are on sale now at GoLobos.com/tickets.
