‘The Masked Singer’ goes romantic for ‘Twilight Night’ — and a shocking Grammy winner is unmasked

Twilight Night” cast a romantic spell over The Masked Singer, as the Fox singing competition leaned fully into Valentine’s Day with love-soaked performances, gothic flair, and a reveal that left the panel stunned.

The night opened with a special appearance by Christina Perri, who delivered a performance of “A Thousand Years,” the signature ballad from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1. The haunting rendition immediately set the tone for an episode built around romance, heartbreak, and drama.

Host Nick Cannon welcomed viewers back alongside panelists Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Rita Ora, Robin Thicke, and Ken Jeong, who were ready to dissect another round of cryptic clues and emotionally-charged performances.

Vampire Royale

Four contestants took the stage with romantic selections inspired by the evening’s theme. Cat Witch leaned into raw emotion with “It Will Rain,” while 14K Carrot embraced synth-heavy drama on “Tainted Love.” Stingray delivered a swagger-filled take on “Bad Habits,” and Owl closed the round with a classic rock performance of “White Wedding.”

When the votes were revealed, Cat Witch and 14K Carrot emerged as the top two performers of the night, earning immediate safety. That left Stingray and Owl facing off in the Vampire Royale.

For the sudden-death showdown, both singers tackled “Love Is a Battlefield” by Pat Benatar, each putting their own stamp on the power anthem. Stingray ultimately won the duel, securing his place in the competition and sending Owl toward unmasking.

Elimination

Before Owl removed his mask, the panel made one final round of guesses. Robin landed on Dennis Quaid, while Jenny and Ken both guessed Ted Danson. Rita went with Kurt Russell.

Moments later, Owl stepped out of the shadows and revealed himself as country crooner and Miley’s famous dad — Billy Ray Cyrus.

The reveal shocked the panel, drawing cheers and disbelief as the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer reflected on the fun of performing anonymously and stepping into a competition far outside his usual lane.
