2026 Canadian International AutoShow It’s all gas, no brakes at the 2026 Canadian International AutoShow. From the latest buzz in high-end electric vehicles, to concepts and muscle cars you won’t see anywhere else, this year’s showcase has something for everyone. McLaren W1 The McLaren W1 is the British automaker’s fastest accelerating road-legal vehicle ever, reaching 200km/h from standstill in just 5.8 seconds. McLaren W1 The supercar costs approximately $3.5 million, before options and luxury taxes. Production of the W1 was limited to 399 cars and is already sold out. McLaren W1 Launched on the 50th anniversary of its first Formula 1 World Championship win, W1 embodies McLaren’s world championship mindset, the automaker says: “To strive to achieve more. Always pushing the boundaries of performance.” Cadillac F1 Cadillac unveiled the livery (the design) of its first-ever Formula 1 car in an advertisement during the Super Bowl last weekend to the excitement of many car and racing enthusiasts. Cadillac F1 Cadillac is expected to make its racing debut at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne in March. Porsche 911 This Porsche 911 reimagined by Singer features an enhanced engine that can produce at least 510 horsepower. Porsche 911 The “restomod” pays homage to the 930 Turbo from the 1970s and features custom carbon fibre bodywork.
Ford Mustang GTD This Ford Mustang GTD, painted in race yellow, is powered by a 5.2L V8 engine that can produce roughly 815 horsepower. Ford Mustang GTD Inspired by Ford’s GT3 race car, this limited-edition, street-legal vehicle will cost you about $450,000. Ford Mustang GTD The GTD can reach a top speed of approximately 325 km/h. 1966 Lola T70 Mark II Spyder In addition to dozens of new vehicles, the AutoShow also features a trove of vintage cars, like the 1966 Lola T70 Mark II Spyder, in “The Vault.” 1966 Lola T70 Mark II Spyder The Lola T70 was a dominant force in 1966, winning five out of six Can-Am races that year 1972 McLaren M8F This 1972 McLaren M8F is powered by a mid-mounted Chevrolet V8 engine and painted “papaya orange.” 1972 McLaren M8F Reaching speeds of up to approximately 350 km/h, it was one of the fastest vehicles on racing circuits at the time. 1972 McLaren M8F This particular McLaren is outfitted with the Speed Racer cartoon. 2017 Bugatti Chiron The 2017 Bugatti Chiron is one of the fastest vehicles on display at the auto show with a top speed of 420 km/h. 2017 Bugatti Chiron The supercar features a horsepower of 1,500 and is one of 500 ever built. LEGO Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special Inspired by the 1950s Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special, this car is made almost entirely of LEGO bricks. LEGO Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special It took nearly 4,000 hours to put more than 418,000 LEGO bricks together (including 123,000 pink bricks alone) and build this one-of-a-kind crusier. LEGO Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special The LEGO Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special served as the “cool-down car” at the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix, transporting the top three finishers from the track to the podium. LEGO Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special The car can seat up to five passengers and features fully functional headlights, taillights, turn signals and hazard lights. 1948 Chevrolet Fleetside Lead Sled This 1948 Chevrolet Fleetside Lead Sled is part of the Club Showcase collection in the AutoShow’s Vault. 1948 Chevrolet Fleetside Lead Sled This classic car, which often features chopped tops, lowered suspensions, and shaved trims, earned its name from the lead filler used in its body modifications. 1986 Buick Grand National The Buick Grand National is the iconic muscle car of the 1980s. 1986 Buick Grand National Its 3.8L intercooled turbo V6 engine made it one of the fastest American-made cars of the era with 235 horsepower. 1908 McLaughlin Model F The McLaughlin Model F is one of the oldest vehicles on display at the AutoShow. 1908 McLaughlin Model F Produced in Oshawa, Ont., this vehicle would cost you about $1,400 in 1908. 1927 Duesenberg Model X Before Tesla, Duesenberg had the original Model X. 1927 Duesenberg Model X This vintage vehicle will cost you significantly more than the modern-day EV though. A similar model recently sold at auction for over $700,000. McLaren F1 The McLaren F1 was conceived in 1988 and realized in 1992 as the British automaker’s first road car. McLaren F1 To this day, it holds the record for the world’s fastest naturally aspirated road car. McLaren F1 “Only 106 examples were made in a limited production run, making the McLaren F1 one of the most exclusive cars in the world, even today,” McClaren said. The F1 regularly sells for as much as $20.5 million when it’s up for auction. Tesla Optimus It’s not just cars at this year’s AutoShow: Tesla’s Optimus robot is also making an appearance. Tesla Optimus Tesla recently announced that it was going all in on the production of its humanoid robots, and ceasing production on the Model X and Model S to make space. Mercedes-Benz Hot Wheels This isn’t your average Hot Wheels car. The toy car maker has teamed up with Mercedes-Benz to produce a larger-than-life replica. Mercedes-Benz Hot Wheels “The re-imagined Mercedes-Benz CLA is brought to life through the creative lens of Hot Wheels designers, showcasing a shared spirit of limitless play and bold artistic vision,” the companies said. 2026 G 580 Electric SUV This electric version of the Mercedes-Benz “G-Wagon” features four permanently synchronous electric motors with low-range transmissions. 2026 G 580 Electric SUV The luxury car may be powered by a battery, but still features all the off-road capabilities that made it famous. 2026 G 580 Electric SUV The 2026 G 580 sells for $248,162 all in. Ferrari 296 Speciale The Ferrari 296 Speciale can reach a top speed of 330km/h and can get to 200 km/h from standing in just seven seconds. Hyundai Crater Hyundai’s newest concept car is truly out of this world. Hyundai Crater The futuristic, all-electric Hyundai Crater is built for off-roading — on this planet or another. The concept is not for sale, but is one of the most talked about vehicles at this year’s AutoShow. 2027 GLC 400 Electric 4Matic SUV Another electric vehicle on offer from Mercedes is its 2027 GLC. 2027 GLC 400 Electric 4Matic SUV Its dual electric motors combine for 483 horsepower and can reach over 700 km on a single charge. Audi R26 The Audi R26 is the German automaker’s official F1 racecar. It debuted at a launch event in Kraftwerk Berlin last month. Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 772 Edition was unveiled in 2006 and features a 5.5-litre V8 engine capable of producing 650 horsepower. Ford Bronco Fans of the Toronto Maple Leafs will love this custom-wrapped Ford Bronco. Ford Bronco First produced in 1966, the Bronco has been massively popular after it returned to the market in 2021. Ghostbusters Ectomobile “Ghostbusters” fans will want to check out the Ectomobile that’s on display. Ghostbusters Ectomobile The ambulance/hearse is equipped with proton packs, P.K.E. meters, and a gurney. Ghostbuster Ectomobile Characters from the franchise, such as Slimer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow man, were seen in the vehicle on Thursday. Honda Indy The Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto (or Honda Indy) announced last year that it was shifting gears and moving to Markham in 2026. Honda Indy Prior to the summer announcement, the annual race had been taking place on a street course through Toronto’s Exhibition Place in some form since 1986. Honda Indy An Indy car, like the ones that will be racing this summer, is on display at this year’s AutoShow. Project Arrow Vector Prototype This is the second Canadian-designed, built and engineered battery electric vehicle prototype produced by Project Arrow. Project Arrow Vector Prototype Designed to be faster, lighter and smarter than the original Project Arrow Prototype launched in 2023, this iteration features an AI-formed 3D printed polymer and aluminum chassis. Project Arrow Vector Prototype The vehicle has a powerful 650 horsepower engine and was produced in partnership with Canada’s auto parts and systems suppliers as well as its universities. 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Roadster This $362,232 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Roadster is one of the most luxurious vehicles on display at this year’s show. 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Roadster The vehicle’s biturbo V8 engine is crafted by hand, which the German maker says is necessary to “assure a degree of precision commensurate with its 577-hp strength.” Corvette ZR1X The Corvette ZR1X is described as a “hypercar” due to its 1,250 combined horsepower and top speed of 375 km/h. Corvette ZR1X From a standstill, the ZR1X can reach 96 km/h in under two seconds flat. Corvette ZR1X The Corvette ZR1X sells for around $316,000. 1996 Lamborghini Diablo VT The 1996 Lamborghini Diablo VT is on display in the “Oblivion” exhibit of the AutoShow, highlighting the best autos of the 80s and 90s. 1996 Lamborghini Diablo VT Known as the “Poster Car” of the 90s, this manual-transmission vehicle has a 492 horsepower and can reach speeds of over 300 km/h. 1980 Ferrari 308 GTS In the same room as the Lamborghini Diablo, AutoShow visitors will find the 1980 Ferrari 308 GTS. 1980 Ferarri 308 GTS The car was made famous by the TV show “Magnum P.I.” which ran from 1980 to 1988. 1958 Vespa 400 Fans of cars on the smaller side will want to head to the lower level of the AutoShow to check out the Vespa 400. 1958 Vespa 400 This two-seater may not be the fastest vehicle on display at this year’s event with a top speed of about 88 km/h, but it’s definitely the tiniest. 1957 Messerschmitt KR200 Right next to the Vespa is the Messerschmitt KR200, a 1957 three-wheel bubble car. 1957 Messerschmitt KR200 Described as a microcar, fewer than 50,000 of these vehicles were ever produced. Jeep Dinosaur Park Jeep is bringing the outdoors indoors with its Dinosaur Park. Jeep Dinosaur Park Visitors at this year’s show will have a chance to step into Jeep’s latest lineup of vehicles for a test-drive on some seriously challenging terrain. Lotus 23B The Lotus 23B is a lightweight racecar which was purpose-built for FIA Group 4 racing in 1962–1963. 1962 Lotus 23B Only 130–131 Lotus 23B were ever built, including this one from 1962.
