Ukraine talks in Geneva face impasse as Russia holds firm on demands

Talks between Russia, Ukraine and the United States in Geneva were set to enter a second day after Moscow ratcheted up the pressure on Kyiv to accept a peace deal on the Kremlin’s terms and launched another massive missile and drone strike targeting Ukraine’s energy and critical infrastructure overnight.
