Comcast Unveils Major Expansion Of Xfinity StreamSaver Bundle, Adding HBO Max And Hulu-Disney+ Combo

Comcast has unveiled a major expansion of a streaming bundle operated by its Xfinity broadband and video systems, adding the Hulu–Disney+ combo and HBO Max to the roster.
The new services join existing tenants Peacock, Netflix and Apple TV. StreamSaver, which is available only to Xfinity TV and internet customers, launched in 2024.
In the updated setup, customers have more options. They can choose combinations of three, four or all five apps. The eight different packages range in price from $18 to $35 a month, with savings reaching as much as 45% compared with what they cost outside of StreamSaver.
Only the ad tiers of Netflix, HBO Max and the Hulu-Disney+ bundle are available in the package. Apple TV remains ad-free except for its live sports coverage.
Xfinity established its StreamStore as a way for customers to engage with StreamSaver and also browse a catalog of 450 streaming apps and channels, as well as 200,000 movie and TV titles for rent or purchase.
As the new services are joining StreamSaver, updates to StreamStore are also rolling out in order to help customers manage their subscriptions and purchases.
“Xfinity StreamStore puts customers in control – making it easy to mix, match, and manage the streaming services they actually want,” Jon Gieselman, Comcast’s chief growth officer for connectivity and platforms, said in a statement. Comcast. “Customers can use StreamStore to build a personalized collection of streaming products, while enjoying real savings.”
Bundling has become an increasing priority for a range of stakeholders in streaming as companies continue to raise stand-alone prices at a steady clip. Subscription streaming, which started off as ad-free and relatively inexpensive a decade ago, has tilted toward advertising in recent years as prices continue to go up, in large part to defray the cost of sports rights and big-ticket programming.
