Jacoby Brissett put his name in the history books on Sunday night.
The Cardinals quarterback completed 47 passes against the San Francisco 49ers — a new NFL record. Brissett went 47-of-57 for 452 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
The 49ers, though, were too much for the Cardinals as they fell, 41-22 in Week 11. Arizona has now lost five of its last six games.
Brissett signed with the Cardinals in March after spending the 2024 season with the New England Patriots — his second stint with the team.
The veteran quarterback has been filling in for the injured Kyler Murray. In five starts this season, Brissett is 1-4 with 10 touchdowns.
The Cardinals placed Murray on injured reserve earlier this month with a foot injury he suffered in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans. He is eligible to return in Week 14.
