‘SNL’ Writer Jimmy Fowlie’s Sister Christina Downer Reported Missing In LA: “This Is Not Like Her”
Hollywood is rallying around Saturday Night Live writer Jimmy Fowlie after his sister Christina Lynn Downer was reported missing in Los Angeles.
Last Monday, the comedian shared a missing persons flyer for the 38-year-old, who was last seen in the Koreatown neighborhood and has not been active on social media since Dec. 15, with Fowlie last hearing from her on Nov. 26.
“My sister has been missing and we are worried that she isn’t safe. Her married name is Downer but she may go by Christina Fowlie,” Jimmy announced last week, noting on Saturday that she “is still missing. This is not like her, she’s never gone off the grid like this.”
Fowlie noted that Downer is “very attached” to her miniature pinscher Rex, “and if you see her chances are he’d be with her.”
He has asked locals to reach out to [email protected] if they’re able to help disperse the missing persons flyer around the city on Sunday. Anyone with info regarding Downer’s whereabouts should call the LAPD’s Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1800. Her case number is 25237639.
Kenan Thompson, Chloe Fineman, Hannah Einbinder, D’Arcy Carden, Drew Tarver, Casey Wilson, Jillian Bell and more have shown their support on social media as many in the industry and LA at large have circulated the flyer to help find Downer.
