Lawrence Hunt Jr | Man shot dead near bus stop in Durham, police release his identity

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) — A man who was found shot on Wednesday morning in Durham has been identified.

The Durham Police Department identified the man as 23-year-old Lawrence Hunt Jr.

Police found Hunt near a bus stop in the area of Raynor Street and North Miami Boulevard around 10:50 a.m., and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

No suspects are currently in custody, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities say more details will be released as they become available.
