Celtic v Rangers kicks off Scottish Premiership & Championship Saturday – radio & text

Rohl wants ‘brave’ Rangerspublished at 11:56 GMT

Celtic v Rangers (12:30)

Rangers head coach Danny Rohl tells BBC Sportsound: “It’s fantastic. We leave today and there were a lot of fans and supporters. We will fight, we will put a lot of effort in and hopefully we can give our fans a good game and a good result.

“We know in this game, in these big games, it’s not about the last results, it’s just about the 90 minutes. We have to be prepared.

“I see a team who is emotionally ready, that has a belief and hopefully we see as well the tactical structure that we want to see as well.

“Hopefully, I picked the right players for today. As a group, not just 11 players, there are 20 players in the dressing room that are ready to go together.

“[Winning would be] a step for the three points, but of course it’s a signal that we are really back in the race, what everyone wants.

“I want to see a team who is brave and make the next step in the big games and it will be to take a result today.”
