Written by Marco van Belle and directed by Timur Bekmambetov, Mercy is a futuristic A.I.-centric crime thriller that follows Detective Chris Raven (Pratt) after he’s accused of murdering his wife. Now, standing trial before the Mercy Capital Court for a crime he insists he did not commit, Pratt’s detective must prove his innocence to the A.I.-powered program he helped create, presided over by Judge Maddox (Ferguson). With advanced technology that offers access to every camera and database at his fingertips, Raven must successfully make his case within 90 minutes before he’s executed. The Mercy cast is rounded out by Annabelle Wallis (Annabelle), Kali Reis (True Detective), Chris Sullivan (This Is Us), Kylie Rogers (Yellowstone), Jeff Pierre (Walker), Rafi Gavron (Godfather of Harlem), and Kenneth Choi (9-1-1).
