Taylor Sheridan’s Most Anticipated New Series Will Arrive Sooner Than Expected

Taylor Sheridan’s ever-expanding Yellowstone universe isn’t slowing down — and it looks like one of its most intriguing new chapters is coming into focus. A new Paramount+ sizzle reel has seemingly confirmed that The Madison, Sheridan’s upcoming drama connected to Yellowstone, is set to debut in 2026.

Following the events of Yellowstone Season 5 and Kevin Costner’s high-profile exit from the franchise, Sheridan has been busy laying the groundwork for what comes next. The story of the Duttons will continue in multiple directions, including Marshals on CBS — centered on Kayce Dutton — and Dutton Ranch, which will bring Beth and Rip back to Paramount+. The Madison, however, is something different. Rather than focusing on existing Yellowstone characters, the series introduces an entirely new family and setting, while remaining thematically tied to Sheridan’s modern Western world.

Led by three-time Oscar nominee Michelle Pfeiffer, The Madison centers on the McIntosh family, a wealthy New York clan who relocate to the Madison River Valley of central Montana. The series explores culture clashes, family tensions, and the emotional cost of building a new life in a place defined by vast landscapes and unyielding realities. Although specific plot details are still being kept under wraps, the level of talent involved has only increased excitement.

The new Paramount+ advertisement is narrated by MobLand star Helen Mirren and largely highlights the streamer’s UFC offerings. However, it also includes a short clip from The Madison, showcasing tranquil Montana scenery and subtly placing the series among titles slated for 2026. The same ad also points to MobLand Season 2 and Dutton Ranch debuting this year.

Who Stars in The Madison?

Alongside Michelle Pfeiffer, the cast includes Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett, Amiah Miller, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Alaina Pollack, Danielle Vasinova, and Kurt Russell. Early reports had initially suggested the spinoff could be led by Matthew McConaughey following Costner’s exit from Yellowstone, but those plans eventually fell apart as the series evolved into a Pfeiffer-led project with a new creative focus. Despite the changes, confidence in the show appears high, as a second season has already been filmed which is basically unheard of for a series that hadn’t aired. However, given the cast involved and the fact that Goldfinger himself in Sheridan is involved, suggests Paramount sees this as a lay-up.

The Madison arrives on Paramount+ this year.
