Noni Madueke names the Arsenal player who’s in the gym for 45 minutes before every training session

Being first into the training ground and putting in the extra work is not for everyone and sometimes, can be the difference between those right at the top and those who struggle.
A prime example of a player who has put the maximum effort into their career is Cristiano Ronaldo. At 40, ‘CR7’ is in just as good shape now as he was 15 years ago and it’s a testament to his work ethic.
At a club like Arsenal who are going for the title, having players in the squad who are willing to put that little bit more in is important.

There are some good, solid senior pros at Arsenal who will set the standard.
But when it comes to the player always putting in extra work before training, Noni Madueke has revealed it’s actually a young talent.

If you can get young players doing the work on the side and grafting then it’s even more impressive and Mikel Arteta will love what he’s seeing at the moment.
Indeed, speaking about his teammates, Noni Madueke has conceded it is an up and comer who takes the title of best trainer.

Answering questions for ESPN, Madueke was asked which one of his Arsenal teammates was likely to be first into training.
And surprisingly, it was a youngster who got Madueke’s vote.
“Most likely to be first in at training?
“This is who is actually first to training. It’s actually Myles bro, Myles will be in the gym 45 minutes to an hour before training, before training starts,” Madueke admitted.
Myles Lewis-Skelly setting an early standard at Arsenal
There is a reason why some young players continue to get picked and others don’t and this little nugget of information from Madueke shows just why Lewis-Skelly features so often.
Just putting in that extra bit of work will not be going unnoticed from the coaching staff and it’s little wonder Mikel Arteta selects him.

Going forward, ‘MLS’ is effectively setting the standard for both his teammates and any young player wanting to make their way at The Emirates.
With such a strong work ethic already and a manager who clearly values such things, it’s clear that Lewis-Skelly is going to be around for some time yet.
