Clive Owen makes sad admission on Our Farm Next Door
Our Yorkshire Farm star Clive Owen pondered his future managing the farm and who he will “pass the baton on to” when he steps down. Clive made the revelation after he and Amanda chatted about the weather and its impact on their crops during last night’s Our Farm Next Door.
“It is a young fellas’ game,” Clive told the camera. “I am almost 70 now, so I have got to think about what comes next. It is something the family are discussing at the moment to see where the future lies for everyone.” Clive chuckled as he added, “It is nice for me to pass on my shears.”
Later in the programme, Clive provided an update, “We are just beginning to shear sheep. I think Amanda is going to shear and Milo a bit later, and I am not if I can avoid it.”Offering a glimpse into his relationship with his ex-wife Amanda, the farmer continued, “Me and Amanda, for some crazy reason, it has worked out alright,” reports the Express.

“We are not together, but we can keep things going to suit everybody, and that is what we intend to do.” Amanda added, “Things are good, and I think being busy plays a huge part in keeping everybody’s focus.”
In another section, Miles also revealed his future aspirations, confessing he wanted to pursue something “to do with agriculture”. He said, “I am the eldest here now on the farm, so now, a lot of the pressure is on me, you could say, but it is just one of those things.
“I hadn’t thought about the future and what I’d wanna do that far yet, but definitely something with agriculture. But there is a lot more agriculture in the world than just hill farms.”

Clive continued, “What the future holds, you can never quite be sure. It is something the family are discussing at the moment to see where the future lies for everyone.”
Meanwhile, in the episode, the Owen family marked Nancy’s birthday, and viewers couldn’t believe how mature she appeared. “I am enjoying the second part of the series, can’t believe how tall and different the girls look,” one viewer commented.
“Lovely photo, how time flies,” another remarked whilst a third added, “OMG, how is Nancy nine already?”. “They are all growing up so fast, especially Nancy,” someone else observed. Another agreed, “Oh my, so grown up.”
One viewer also drew comparisons between Nancy and Raven, noting the sisters bore a resemblance.
Our Farm Next Door is available to watch on All4.
