The 68th annual Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 1, and one of the key questions many music lovers want to know is whether Taylor Swift will be at the show or not. Loads of other stars, such as Harry Styles, will play a part, but Swift? Well…
The truth is that it appears unlikely that Swifties will be happy. Swift is not nominated this year as her most recent album, The Life of a Showgirl, came out in October. That was too late for albums or songs that could be nominated for the 2026 awards. The singer could be nominated for the album in 2027, though.
According to Grammy Awards executive producer Ben Winston’s implication, Taylor Swift will not be at the awards ceremony. She isn’t touring and isn’t likely making a new record, so maybe she simply wants to take a break and stay out of the limelight.
Will Taylor Swift appear at the 2026 Grammy Awards?
Still, no guarantee exists that Swift won’t be at the Grammys, so maybe she will make a surprise appearance. While her show up is unlikely, millions of fingers will remain crossed.
Many other great musical artists will be at the ceremony, however. If you like Sabrina Carpenter, for instance, you will be happy because she will perform. So will Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. The Grammy Awards will even feature an Ozzy Osbourne tribute, which is rare for a hard rock and metal icon.
In fact, like most years, hard rock will not have a representative perform or present during the main show. Spiritbox will play at the Premiere Show, but that takes place at the Peacock Theatre, and before the Grammys are broadcast live.
If you want to see the show, even though Taylor Swift probably won’t be there, you can catch it beginning at 8 pm ET on CBS. You can stream the event on Paramount+.
