Peterborough United can confirm that banning orders have been issued following incidents of criminal damage at the Weston Homes Stadium over the weekend.
A number of seats were damaged and signs within the ground were dismantled during the match. The Club has taken immediate action. One supporter has already received a lengthy ban, with further bans & sanctions to be issued to others once our investigation is complete.
This matter has also been referred to the police and remains under investigation.
The Club continues to work extremely hard to improve the matchday experience for all supporters. This type of behaviour is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
Peterborough United is proud to be an inclusive, family-friendly football club. We will continue to work with the relevant authorities to identify all those involved and take the strongest possible action.
Anyone who undermines the experience for others is not welcome at this football club.
