The next Fortnite live event is set to begin on Saturday, February 28. Epic Games will wrap up February with another rocket launch event, and if you watch it, you will receive a free cosmetic item. The event will begin at 3:30 PM Eastern Time and is expected to last less than five minutes.

Start time of the Fortnite live event today
To watch an upcoming Fortnite event, you need to get into the match before 3:30 PM ET. The event will be available in the Battle Royale game, so the best way to watch it is by queueing for a match at approximately 3:25 PM.

If you participate in the event, you will unlock an exclusive loading screen. The loading screen features several important lore characters, including Jonesy and Hope. It also gives us an early look at an upcoming skin, which seems to be a new variant of The Order. This skin appeared in a Fortnite Chapter 7 – Season 2 Battle Pass leak.
Fortnite event countdown
To check when the event begins worldwide, the easiest way is to refer to our countdown. Once the timer hits zero, the event will go live, and you should be in a match by then.
While waiting for the event, you can use some of the best Fortnite XP maps to level up quickly and complete the current pass. You can also unlock a couple of free skins in Fortnite before the launch of the season.
