The 37th GLAAD Media Awards are underway in Los Angeles, celebrating the past year in LGBTQ representation.
Hosted by Jonathan Bennett, this year’s awards show takes place Thursday, March 5 at the Beverly Hilton, available to stream March 21 on Hulu, featuring a performance by Demi Lovato, with appearances from Don Lemon, Rhea Seehorn, Lili Reinhart, Rob Mac, Kristen Wiig, Paul Feig, Karolina Wydra, Ariana Madix, Miles Heizer, Monet X Change, Tig Notaro, Tonatiuh, US Olympic gold medalist figure skater Amber Glenn, the cast and creatives of Heated Rivalry and more.

This year’s honorees include Quinta Brunson, who will receive the Vanguard Award for making a difference as an ally promoting LGBTQ acceptance, and Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers, who will be presented with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award for LGBTQ media professionals who raise visibility and promote acceptance.
Nominated films this year include Christy, The History of Sound, Kiss of the Spider Woman, On Swift Horses and Twinless, with nominated shows like Heated Rivalry, Pluribus, The Hunting Wives, Boots and Overcompensating.
