Report: Bills signing pass rusher Bradley Chubb to three-year deal

The Buffalo Bills are adding to their pass rush.

Outside linebacker Bradley Chubb is joining the team on a three-year, $43.5-million contract worth up to $52.5 million, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Wednesday.

The reported contract includes $29 million guaranteed.

Chubb joins the Bills after spending time with their division rivals in Miami. The 29-year old was dealt to the Dolphins from Denver ahead of the trade deadline in 2022, and he logged 22.0 sacks across three seasons with the club.

Chubb, however, has missed time due to injuries over his career, including sitting out the entire 2024 campaign. He also played just four games in 2019, and seven in 2021.

But the edge rusher was back and healthy in ’25, totalling 8.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and 20 QB hits in all 17 games.

The Bills have been searching for a dominant pass rusher to pair with Greg Rousseau after previous efforts fell short.

Buffalo brought in Joey Bosa last season on a one-year deal, but the veteran amassed only five sacks, and in the post-season logged just one QB hit.

Von Miller, Chubb’s teammate with the Broncos, also failed to produce at a high level during his injury-riddled stint with the Bills.

Chubb isn’t the only addition to the defence, as the Bills reportedly signed corner Dee Alford to a three-year deal on Monday.
