Hidden Valley hiring “Ranch-bassadors” to travel Europe and test ranch on local food

Hidden Valley Ranch is launching a new program that will pay four fans to travel across Europe and test how ranch pairs with international food.
Announced on March 10 in celebration of National Ranch Day, the Hidden Valley Ranch-bassador Program will recruit two teams of two people to spend the summer traveling across the continent while documenting their experiences online.
The brand says the program is designed to introduce the distinctly American condiment to new audiences overseas as the United States approaches its 250th anniversary.

Hidden Valley said the selected participants will act as “on-the-ground cultural explorers,” pairing ranch with well-known local foods and sharing reactions from people they meet along the way.
Potential routes include trips through northern Europe with stops in London, Ireland, Iceland, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Sweden, or a southern route through London, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Croatia, and Greece.

The teams will be expected to create content throughout the trip, including four short-form videos each week and one longer YouTube episode documenting their experiences with ranch and local cuisine.
Hidden Valley said all equipment will be provided, and participants will receive compensation for roughly 40 hours of work per week, along with paid travel costs, including flights, trains, lodging, and food stipends.
“This is more than a job — it’s a cultural exchange powered by an incredibly versatile flavor,” said Stacy Stokes, Vice President of Marketing at Hidden Valley Ranch.

This comes just days after Wendy’s revealed that it’s hiring a “Chief Tasting Officer” to eat its food, and it pays $100,000.
Hidden Valley isn’t the only company celebrating National Ranch Day, either, as Wingstop revealed a mammoth 32oz “Big A$$ Ranch Cup” available to customers in Dallas, Texas, and New York City.
