‘Off Campus’ Hockey Romance Series Gets Premiere Date at Prime Video

The next buzzy book-to-screen hockey romance drama is about to hit screens, when “Off Campus” lands at Prime Video.
“Off Campus,” based on the book series of the same name by Elle Kennedy, will premiere on the streaming platform on May 13.
Described by Prime Video as a “college soap,” the show will focus on the hockey team at Briar University, a fictional school set in Boston in the books, and their various romantic entanglements. Season 1 is set to follow the plot of the first book in the series, “The Deal,” about star player Garrett Graham and a singer/songwriter Hannah Wells.
Garrett will be played by Belmont Cameli, and Hannah by Ella Bright.
In addition to the premiere date, Prime Video also released a teaser trailer for the show, which previews Garrett’s party boy attitude, Hannah’s studiousness and the steamy — literally —chance encounter that will bring them together.
“Off Campus” was already renewed for Season 2 in February, months before Season 1 premieres.
The second book in Kennedy’s series, titled “The Mistake,” follows John Logan’s (Antonio Cipriano) “second-chance” romance with freshman Grace.
There are more than 10 books total in Kennedy’s collegiate hockey universe. After the four books in the “Off Campus” series, she returned to the fictional team for a set of four more, called “Briar U.” In October 2023, she kicked off a third set of hockey romances in a series called “Campus Diaries.”
The first book in that series, “The Graham Effect,” introduced the next generation of Briar U students, including Garrett and Hannah’s hockey-playing daughter, Gigi.
Her most recent Briar U novel, “Love Song,” which just published March 17, followed the romance between Garrett and Hannah’s son Wyatt and John Logan’s daughter Blake.
