NBA playoff TV schedule today, times, where to watch games, stream

Why didn’t Doc Rivers work out as head coach with Milwaukee Bucks?

Bucks reporter Jim Owczarski and host JR Radcliffe discuss the Bucks coaching change on the Point Forward Podcast. Why didn’t Doc work in Milwaukee?

A four-pack of Game 4s are on the NBA playoff schedule April 26, with the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets set to close out the day’s action.

And that series could be the first to come to a close. The Lakers, who have a 3-0 series lead, will look to turn out the lights on the Rockets’ season and advance to the second round when the teams meet in Game 4 Sunday night, April 26 at the Toyota Center in Houston.

Whether the Rockets, who blew a golden opportunity in Game 3 when they coughed up a six-point lead with less than 30 seconds, can get on the board in this series might hinge on the health of Kevin Durant. The 16-time All-Star has missed two of the three games in the series, the last due to a sprained left ankle. His status remains uncertain heading into the elimination game.

The Lakers have also been playing this series without their No. 1 and No. 2 scorers in Luca Doncic and Austin Reaves. But with LeBron James continuing to defy Father Time and the team getting major contributions from the likes of Luke Kennard and Marcus Smart, JJ Reddick’s squad is on the doorstep of its first playoff series win in three years.

To open the day, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors resume their series, one which has been dominated by the home teams.

After the Cavs easily took the first two games, the Raptors punched back and turned Game 3 into a rout, outscoring Cleveland by 20 points in the fourth quarter to win running away. The Raptors, playing their first home playoff game in four years, were led by 33-point games from Scottie Barnes and RJ Barrett. Can they do it again to even the series or will the Cavs regroup after one bad quarter and go up 3-1?

Next is the San Antonio Spurs against the Portland Trail Blazers, where all eyes will again be on the status of Victor Wembanyama, who missed Game 3 due to a concussion. He remains in protocol heading into Game 4, but the Spurs showed they are more than a one-man team when the team’s last two first-round picks Stephon Castle (33 points) and Dylan Harper (27 points) led the way to a 120-108 victory in Game 3.

Then it’s the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers for Game 4 of their playoff series, one in which the road team has won the last two games. After the 76ers stole home court in Game 2, the Celtics snatched it right back with a Game 3 win behind a pair of 25-point performances from stars Jayson Tatum and Jalen Brown.
