Updated NBA Finals Ticket Prices for Games 3, 4 at MSG After Knicks Take 2-0 Series Lead vs. Spurs

The New York Knicks have taken a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven NBA Finals after defeating the host San Antonio Spurs 105-104 on Friday evening.

The Knicks now move back home to Madison Square Garden with a chance to sweep the Spurs and win their first NBA championship since 1973.

Prices for the NBA Finals were already astronomical, but the “get-in” price is now well into the five figures for Games 3 and 4 after the Knicks’ 2-0 start, per TickPick.

Knicks fans are starving for a championship. Their team hadn’t even made the NBA Finals since 1999, and that was a quick edit after a 4-1 loss to the Spurs in the championship round.

Many Knicks fans weren’t even born or too young to remember that series, or the 1994 NBA Finals appearance against the Houston Rockets (4-3 loss).

New York went through the wilderness for the better part of the 2000s and 2010s, with a host of terrible losing seasons when the team had no nope.

Now the Knicks have gone through a prosperous four-year era led by Jalen Brunson, which has featured four trips to the second round, two to the Eastern Conference Finals and now one to the NBA Finals.

They’re heavily favored to win the championship now, especially with a dominant homecourt advantage led by the team’s loud and passionate fans.

Game 3 is set for Monday, and Game 4 will be Wednesday. Both will start at 8:30 p.m. ET.
