ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Some lingering showers are likely through the overnight hours, as low temperature drop to the upper 60s. Tuesday will be warmer, with a few more peaks of sunshine. Most areas will stay dry Tuesday as high temperatures warm to the low 80s.

A cold front will sweep through north Georgia on Wednesday and give the area a higher chance of showers and isolated storms.
Wednesday is a FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY due to rain and a big cool off that arrives Thursday.
Drier for the weekend
High pressure will build into north Georgia by the end of the week, which will lead to more sunshine through the weekend.
