Gas tops $2 per litre on Avalon Peninsula with latest price adjustment

The maximum price of gasoline has increased by 8.5 cents per litre, topping $2 per litre across the Avalon Peninsula and much of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Diesel went down 6.9 cents per litre across much of Newfoundland, and by 3.5 cents per litre in Labrador West and Churchill Falls. The change puts maximum prices between $2.52 and $2.65 per litre across Newfoundland, and between $1.75 and $2.70 per litre across Labrador.
Furnace oil decreased by just under six cents per litre. That means customers in Newfoundland will pay between $1.99 and $2.19 per litre, depending on the location.
The price of stove oil decreased by 1.6 cents per litre in Labrador West and Churchill Falls, putting maximum prices between $1.28 and $2.14 per litre across the Big Land.
