Another season of Temptation Island has come to a close, and while fans wait for reunion news, I’ve been snooping all over social media to try and figure out which couples are still together after filming. The jury is still out on Kaylee and Summit (who decided to stick together), as well as on Sydney and Xzavier (who fell for each other in paradise), but there’s another couple that has fans searching for clues. And that’s because it seems like Shyanne and Jack could possibly be back together after splitting on Temptation Island.
As a reminder: 23-year-old Shyanne Blankenship and 25-year-old Jack Mason arrived in Kona with the longest relationship, having been together for five years. Things fell apart for them almost immediately, with Jack hooking up with temptress Carter (and then Jesenia…) while Shyanne began spending her nights with Preston (who, btw, you might recognize from season 1 of Squid Game: The Challenge). The two eventually left paradise separately, but seven months after filming, the exes seem…cordial, if not a full-on item again.
For instance: They made a jokey skit with Mikey Bivens.
And then Jack posted a photo dump ahead of the season 2 premiere featuring pics of himself and Shyanne.
She even slid into the comments section to write, “Keep your head up and show the world a side of you they didn’t get to see. No matter how things went I’ll have your back. 🤞.”
So…they could just be friends. But they could also potentially be more than friends. I guess time will tell!!
What makes everything more confusing: the fact that Patrick Mahomes’ controversial brother, Jackson Mahomes, has been posting coupley photos and videos of himself with Shyanne for the past year.
It first started in April 2025, when Jackson (who, as you might recall, was sentenced to six months’ probation after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor battery charge in March 2024) posted a TikTok with Shyanne, which he captioned, “hard launch.”
That was then followed by this photo of the two together on St. Patrick’s Day…
…which was then followed by a photo of Jackson kissing Shyanne in September, which would have been after filming for Temptation Island season 2 wrapped in August. His caption: “happy w/ u.”
Oh, and then there’s this photo from May, which includes Jack in the second slide!!
Confused? Same (especially since neither Jack nor Shyanne has ever commented about the nature of Shyanne’s relationship with Jackson). Guess we’ll have to wait for these two (or three…) to clarify what the heck is going on here.
