2 people suffer life-threatening injuries after flipping car into Brush Creek

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – First responders were called to a single-car crash early Sunday that left two people critically hurt.
The Kansas City Fire Department responded to Ward Parkway and Brush Creek Boulevard at 2:01 a.m. on Nov. 23 on reports that a car had crashed into Brush Creek.

According to a report, a white, four-door sedan was speeding west on Ward Parkway and lost control on the curve into the southbound lanes. The vehicle “vaulted over the guardrail,” landing upside down in Brush Creek.
Rescuers found two people inside the vehicle and pulled them out. They were hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, and their current condition is unknown.
The Kansas City Police Department is investigating the crash and does not currently know the cause.
