Chicago’s most popular team of fictional detectives will be back to solving crime when “Chicago P.D.” returns this week.
The police drama is coming back with new weekly episodes starting Jan. 7 after a midseason break in November 2025.
Starring Jason Beghe as Sgt. Hank Voight, the series follows officers within Chicago Police Department’s Intelligence Unit, which tackles the city’s most heinous crimes.
While the show has over the years seen its share of fan-favorite departures, this season features longtime officers including Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger), Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Kevin Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins).
Among Intelligence’s greener detectives this season are Dante Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar), who joined the department in Season 10, and newbie Eva Imani (Arienne Mandi), a former soldier and military contractor.

“Chicago P.D.” Season 13 returns on Wednesday, Jan. 7.
New episodes air weekly on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET.

“Chicago P.D.” airs on NBC, with episodes available to stream on Peacock next day.
The show is also available to watch on other streaming providers that carry NBC, like Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV and DIRECTV.
