Raptors’ Barnes returns, Ingram remains out vs. 76ers

The Toronto Raptors will get one key piece back, but another remains sidelined.
Barnes and Ingram missed Friday’s 125-117 loss to the Celtics, and the former is good to go. Barnes is averaging 19.1 points, 8.4 rebounds and 5.2 assists per contest, while shooting a career-high 50.4 per cent from the field and from 34.7 per cent deep.
Ingram remains out with a thumb injury, but Rajakovic said that he is close to returning. Ingram is averaging 21.8 points per game, along with 5.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists.
The Raptors are also without wing RJ Barrett, who sprained his ankle in Friday’s loss.
Rajakovic also provided an update on centre Jakob Poeltl, who has been out since Dec. 21, saying that he remains cleared for contact but there is no timetable for his return.
The Raptors look to get back in the win column as they host the 76ers on the first night of a back-to-back Sunday. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet +.
