Last October, Ruth headed on to the celebrity version of The Traitors UK, where she appeared alongside former Olympic diver Tom Daley, singer Paloma Faith, and chat show host and eventual winner Alan Carr. She was chosen as a faithful, before she was ultimately murdered on the show.
Last November, Ruth revealed that she had undergone a second leg amputation, but managed to make light of the situation, saying in a video: ‘I have some good news and some bad news. Good news, we’ve had a full circle moment. I’m back making TikTok content in my parents’ house.
‘Bad news, I can’t do it in front of that lovely blue floral wallpaper anymore, due to the fact that the room is upstairs and I’ve just had my second below-the-knee amputation. Unfortunately, those facilities are not available to me at this current moment in time,’ she added before showing off her ‘new whip,’ a wheelchair she’s lovingly branded ‘Fat Tony.’
Ruth has also made other light-hearted jokes about her second amputation, joking in a video back in December: ‘when you have no legs left to amputate so you’re wondering what you’re going to do for attention in 2026,’ and speaking about how ‘eye-opening’ her losing her second leg has been.
‘Turns out, I’m actually unbelievable at sport,’ Ruth revealed. ‘My two legs were holding me back my whole life. My favourite thus far has been wheelchair rugby, because I get to just ram into people.’
Ruth will be appearing on the Late Late Show on Friday night (January 23) to discuss both the Traitors and her journey to stardom, both on TikTok and the big screen, alongside other guests including Tom Vaughn-Lawlor and John Bishop.
