Driver seriously injured following collision in Scarborough

A driver was seriously injured in a collision in Scarborough on Monday afternoon, Toronto police say.
The crash happened just after 3:10 p.m. near Ellesmere Road and Dolly Varden Boulevard, just west of Markham Road.
Paramedics told CTV News Toronto they rushed a man in his late 30s to a trauma centre in serious, but stable, condition.
Police said a motorcycle and vehicle were involved, but did not say who was sent to the hospital or share details surrounding the collision.
They later said that one driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Ellesmere Road was closed between Markham Road and Dolly Varden Boulevard but has since reopened.
