Bridgerton fan favourite Jonathan Bailey seen in first look at brand-new role as The Martini Man

Bridgerton fan favourite Jonathan Bailey has taken on a coveted role in a short film for the brand-new Martini campaign, in which he stars as The Martini Man. Taking the mantle as the master of the Italian aperitivo, previously played by George Clooney and musician Burt Bacharach, Bailey is summoned to a sun-drenched, stunning villa just outside of Venice for his “initiation”.
As his racing car pulls up at the villa, Bailey is greeted by a team of experts, ready to make a Martini Man out of him.
The playful film sees a clumsy Bailey being transformed into the flawless face of the brand through a series of challenges, including finding the perfect outfit for the role and mixing a refreshing Martini Bianco Spritz, the drink at the heart of the new campaign.

“I think I’ve got it from here,” he says as the team appear impressed. “My work is complete,” his handler rejoices.
“Well, that was easy. What’s next?” the Jurassic World: Rebirth star asks nonchalantly as they toast, hinting at more to come on the Martini front. Bailey has inked a multi-year partnership with the iconic alcoholic beverage company, which means fans will be treated to more Italian-style apéritif served by the Wicked star.
“Stepping into the iconic role of The Martini Man is an honour,” Bailey said in a statement.
“It’s incredibly exciting to me because it’s about stepping outside of your comfort zone, finding confidence in yourself and living joyfully. It’s about bringing that exhilarating spark of Italian style to everyday moments. I’m excited to be part of a campaign and a legacy that invites people to explore all of that.”

Emma Fox, Global Vice President of Martini, remarked: “Jonathan Bailey brings exactly the right energy to The Martini Man: stylish, self-assured, playful and effortlessly magnetic. He has a natural ability to make every moment feel both aspirational and accessible, which makes him the perfect partner for Martini.
“This campaign shows that Italian style is not just tied to geography or travel. It is a mindset and a way of living. With the Martini Spritz Collection, led by the Martini Bianco Spritz, embracing that lifestyle can be as simple as pouring a drink, gathering with friends and bringing a little more style to the moment.”
