The two shook hands before locking up. After the two went back and forth, Gable delivered rolling German Suplexes. The tide turned when Gable went for a moonsault, but Penta countered with a kick in mid-air.
Gable recovered and attempted the Ankle Lock, but Penta sent him out of the ring. Penta delivered a dive before getting Gable back in the ring. Penta hit the Penta Driver, but Gable kicked out.
After the two traded shots, Gable went for a flying headbutt, but Penta countered with The Sacrifice. However, Gable kicked out again. Penta targeted Gable’s bad shoulder.

The momentum shifted in Gable’s favor when he hit a German Suplex on Penta on the apron. Gable followed it up with a moonsault to the outside before getting Penta back in the ring. Gable hit the flying headbutt, but Penta kicked out.
Penta regained control with a Mexican Destroyer on the apron and went for the win, but Gable kicked out again. Gable countered another Mexican Destroyer attempt with the Ankle Lock. Penta tried to escape, but Gable held on, and Penta tapped, giving Gable the title.

After the match, Penta embraced an emotional Gable before leaving the ring. Gable’s family was brought into the ring as he cut a brief promo. The segment ended with Gable holding up the title as pyro went off.
